Short term projection: A little unclear, but signs are optimistic. Though losing $47 mil in 2Q due to decreased demand from automakers, AKS beat analyst expectations. On the good side, they announced they expect 3Q operating profits to break even, while analysts expect operating profits to be -$18mil.

Long term projection: Upward trend. 2 months and a half until next quarter's earnings. Hopefully AKS business strategy will prove profitable.

Its product lines provide a range of business productivity tools, and personal and entertainment applications designed for mobile professionals and business customers, as well as entry-level consumers. -Google Finance

Short term projection: Poised for a nice recovery after it's 10 day 3.64% fall in price. Line 3 seems like the lower trend line to follow due to its breadth.

Long term projection: Uptrend. However, consider setting a stop loss at $13.5 in case it tanks. This is a viable option considering at the end of July, Palm's short interest was 30% of its outstanding stocks. However 15 of 18 analysts maintain a hold or buy value.

Notes: Sprint's 2Q losses widen while subscriber losses narrow. Sprint Nextel Corp. fell 49 cents, or 10.7 percent, to $4.10 after its loss widened in the second quarter as revenue and subscribers continued to fall. Most subscribers to the Palm Pre are current customers. Sprint is failing to attract new customers. Only offsetting the losses were the 930,000 new users of Boost Mobile, Sprint's prepaid service. However, Sprint is now offering the Palm Pre at different locations such as best buy's, a good marketing move.

Short term Projection for the future( 1 mo) : Price will fall. Bounce off the upper trend line. Expect $9.50 plus. Note the most recent OHLC. It is red meaning closing price is below opening price. Perhaps sellers are winning the battle.

Long Term Projection(2 mo+): Price increase until mid september when the trend will become unclear as price start to squeeze into the funnel. Can break either way. Need to wait for more news. We'll see if buyers can demand the price up.

Notes: Rated a buy at Jefferies on July 15th, 14 days ago. Price has risen 18% since then.

Short term Projection: Looking for a (1) bounce off the upper trend line resulting in a price drop. The (2) decrease in volume matches the predicted move. Not enough support to continue the short term upward trend. Can see $12.50 at the end of August. It appears there are no market news to cause the stock to break the upper trend line. Use a covered call (hold long, write call option) for one month at a price above current price of 13.73

Long Term Projection: Upward trend. More green candle sticks than red meaning closing prices are higher than opening prices. This is a result of more demand from buyers causing the price to rise overall.
